]]> http://kitopeters.com/news.html#97 Thu, 14 Apr 2011 00:00:00 -0700 - Kito Peters - News 5 New Mexico Music Awards Finalists http://kitopeters.com/news.html#96 "Tip My Hat" just was named a finalist in five New Mexico Music Awards categories: Best CD of the Year, Best Pop CD, Best Producer (Jono Manson and me), Best Packaging (Willy Magee, Lisa Rainbird, and me), and Best Novelty/Humorous Song ("My Gulag").  This is the sixth consecutive year one of my CDs has been a finalist for either Best Pop or Best Rock CD.  It's also the fifth time we've been a finalist for Best CD of the Year.  The award dinner will be Sunday, May 22nd in Albuquerque.


Meanwhile we're mixing the new record - working on a tight schedule since Simon Snaize (our producer) has to leave the USA in a week.
